Croatia Trophy 2009


DATE AND PLACE
The “Croatia Trophy 2009” is taking place between


30.04. to 08.05. 2009.

ORGANISER
The organiser of the “Croatia Trophy Light” is the Croatia Trophy organising Team. 
We have been involved in Off-Road, nationally and internationally, for many years now.
We were the very proud co-organisers of the Supersylvania Trophy - CROATIA in 1998 and 1999. We were the organisers of the Christmas Trophy 2002-2004 in Bregana, Croatia,the  organiser of the Mini Croatia Trophy in 2007 and 2008 and the Mini Croatia Trophy Light in 2008, as well as the sole organiser of the Croatia Trophy events in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009..



REGISTRATION

Online registration through our web site is preferable. It will be, however, be possible to register by mail. After we receive your registration you will be invoiced with payment details..
The “Croatia Trophy 2009” is limited to 70 vehicles (50 cars and 20 ATV’s). All participants who make their registration and payment by the 16th of January 2009 are granted a 10% discount.(All participants, including members of the service/support teams,are obliged to pay for catering arrangements )


 CREWS AND TEAMS
Each vehicle has to be occupied by two persons (driver and co-driver). Both persons have to have a valid driving licence and are free to change places with each other behind the steering wheel.
ATV drivers can register and participate only in pairs, as a team. Drivers must drive only drive their own ATV throughout the event. They must be a member of an ATV club and be able to demonstrate ATV driving experience to the Organiser. 
Cars and ATVs participate in separate classes.
ATVs shall start each stage first. The time difference between the ATV which starts last and first car to start is 30 min.


ALLOWED VEHICLES
Any 4x4 vehicle that is street legal in its country of origin and has a valid insurance certificate is allowed to enter the race. Vehicles with a total weight of over 3.5 tons cannot participate in the race. Each vehicle has to have a firmly fixed winch. It should also be equipped with the following things: a trip master (rally computer), seat-belts, 1 spare wheel, an appropriate car jack, linen straps for pull-outs (not using adequate tree-protection will result in penalties and even disqualification), drinking water canister, garbage-bags, a first aid-box and a fire-extinguisher. ATV drivers (who cannot have seat belts) should wear protective clothing.
A roll cage is obligatory for all vehicles!
Tyres must have AT or MT off road profile from serial production (E index). No private workshops.
Tractor tyres are not allowed.
GPS is not allowed. 
Walkie-talkies are not allowed, except for communication between driver and co-driver.
GSM mobile phones are not allowed except in case of emergency.
Wearing helmets is mandatory while in stage.


SERVICE
In the base camp there will be tyre-service facilities and a car wash service as well as a doctor at your disposal. The camp will be supplied with fresh drinkable water, a garbage container,an  oil waste container and toilets. There will be no fuel provision facilities in the camp. A petrol station is situated 7 km away. Ramsey spare parts will be available.
The towing service of the Trophy is called the  “Lumpensammler”. Its function is to pick up any broken vehicles along the track and bring them to the next road accessible to your service team if necessary.
Private service-teams that have been registered in advance are allowed but they cannot approach the racing track. Wild camping is not allowed. 


CATERING
The catering consists of breakfast, lunch-package and dinner for 7 days plus the winner celebration dinner. 
Please bring your own crockery and cutlery. Drinks are paid for separately.

ROAD BOOK
The road book will be written in Croatian, German and English, for participants and PRESS vehicles.

TROPHY DAY
What kind of a trophy would it be without the Trophy Day? Prepare yourself for some new torments and challenges besides the normal ones for, be warned, we have a very vivid imagination.


AWARDS
Each one of the winning teams will win a champions cup, together with the following awards:

Car Class
1. Place     – EUR 1500    
2. Place     – EUR 1000
3. Place     – EUR 500

ATV Class
1. Place  - EUR 1500          
Each participant will receive a memorial medal.
